Wagon rear lights....

Dunno if you have any around but I'm looking for a (US) passenger-side rear light fitting for a W123 Wagon.

They are stupidly expensive here in UK--and its seems always that side one here gets damaged....(UK Driver's side), but dunno why--Seems they get damaged usually in car-parks by other (stupid) drivers while W123 stationary/unattended.

Let us know, and if you would be prepared to ship to UK, costs obviously covered....

Thanks,

Al

-Most recent M.B. purchase, Cost-a-plenty, Gulps BioDiesel extravagantly, and I love it like an old dog.

W114, 1975 280E Custard Yellow,
-Great above decks needs chassis welding--Really will do it this year....

We have the same problem. It seems that the only wagon tail lights available here are made of unobtanium.

Compared with some of the prices I've seen 45 euros + 21 % VAT excluding postage isn't too bad

≥ Nieuwe achterlichten w123 ( station ) L/R - Verlichting - Marktplaats.nl

I can not recommend the seller however as he has been totally uncooperative and unhelpful in the past - so bad I have never actually managed to buy anything from him! (Or his missus)

{And I'm not a total pain in the arse - all I have ever asked is "can you send it?" - "how much extra will it cost?" - simple things like that => I know some people here will disagree with me but some companies just can not be effing arsed - and it is their fault there isn't a sale and they are going out of business! They are ****s.}

Are you looking for the light, or the wiring, or the fender? I don't quite understand what you are asking about.

Wasn't it Churchill who said that we're two great peoples divided by a common language? I'm guessing this is one of those. (I don't quite follow him either)

I bet they won't be there!

(We should do the meet though before I get fed up with my W201 and trade it in for a Land Rover!)

Yup--Stretch's link is what I need.--The light fitting with coloured lenses.

--Its fixed to the body by a couple of screw-slotted nuts on the inside of the car--you need to remove the whole light-fitting to change the bulbs, so a bit different from the sedans....

--I could only find S/H ones at £80 (about 120 bux)

Exclamation Idiots

Yes they are .

And to add insult to injury , they also broke both bulb holders , also wagon specific parts , I was able to find those not overly expen$ively .

Just a friendly F.Y.I., been waiting so many months for parts, can't remember how long. He doesn't intend, but there is so much taking his time, especially with his own H.V.A.C. business. Though good things come to those that wait.
