Oh ok. I misunderstood what was being said. I just had paying a shop, or whomever to do something I can do. Even if its half the price of the tooling needed I'd rather have the tooling.

When you total up the possible Trouble some have had getting the Lower Ball Joint out and getting it back in I think if you had to remove the Boot from that Ball Joint that removing the Boot is a minor issue compared to the rest of the job.

I've now used the tool, and it's super easy. I took pics, and from start to finish, less than 10minutes a side...

As it should be for (JTC Tool) $100+shipping + access to a Hydraulic Press.

The point that I was trying to make was that if you had a Method that would work and you did have to remove the Ball Joint Boot removing the Boot is not a significant issue.

Since I now have the TC tool, I'm going to see if it will work in the bench top press, or even in a large vise. Stay tuned
