There's country and then there's country. The Dixie Chicks had some real action going on, they weren't merely formulaic tripe.

That's exactly how i feel. I grew up in rural east Texas and country "music" was predominant, except for the music in high school band. After college i moved to Houston (1987) and my hatred of country "music" has tempered immensly. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dixie Chicks, and am in agreement with Natalie's political views. Glad she spoke out against our idiot-in-chief of that moment.

What is your complaint, kind sir? That she was mean to Bush while in London?! And that is really worse than saying it here? If she was an expat, lobbing bricks on her former nation, that would be one thing. But everyone knew she was going to be on the next plane back. They've been showing clips of the DUBBERS vis a vis OBL on the tube. The guy was 1/10th as presidential as Barack HUSSEIN Obama at best.
