The group gets first refusal

OK, the name of the game is this: I have made the decision that I intend to move out of state. I don't have a definitive date yet, but the ball is already rolling. What this means is, that I'm selling off alot of stuff around my house, and yes, this includes the project vehicles. The 300D that I bought from Old Navy is on that chopping block. I paid $650 for it. It has since developed a miss on #5 cylinder. I have not had the time to even begin to troubleshoot why. I have collected an assortment of parts to go through the engine, mainly gaskets, the aux water pump for the climate control, glowplugs, gaskets, and probably a few other things as well. It has the correct euro lights installed, as well as clear corners. It still needs additional modification to the wiring to make the markers work correctly, as well as the parking lights in the euros. I still have the US spec lights and bezels, which will be put in the trunk. All parts that I bought for this car will also be put in the trunk. You will need a trailer to get it home.

Buy it for parts, or restore it. The first $500 takes it. I will not be stripping parts off of the car to sell. In about a week, I'll be putting it up in Ebay if it doesn't sell here. This will also end my time tinkering with these cars as I simply don't have the time or discipline to mess with them.

I'm not on the forums much anymore, so I'll be better reached at bfoust@direcway.com . Thanx guys for all of the help and advice over the years.

Yes it is. However, I actually live closer to Bridgeport than Paradise. Paradise just delivers my mail.

Man I wished you lived closer! Its only about 180 miles from where I live but I don't have a way to get it home. Even if there's a major problem with the engine I have a donor motor from my '85. Dang. Oh well the search goes on.

DieselPower....Paradise, Texas! I was born in Bridgeport, grew up on the Trinty River, my daughter was born in Paradise....we used to live right on 114 across from Highway 51 where it heads up to Decatur. I'd still be living there but 3rd. wife, 1st child...we moved back to Fort Worth. I learned Paradise is where you make it.

Good Luck with your move!

You could always do a day rental of a truck and trailer from u-haul.

I looked back through all OldNavy's posts about this car and cannot find a picture (all the links are dead). Anyone know what color it is?
