Define "significant rush of air". I filled my 85 diesel up this morning and when I opened up the cap, I heard a tiny bit of air come out, but it didn't really raise a whole lot of suspicion.

Define "tiny bit."

The valve in the vent system will allow a slight positive or negative pressure differential, so a slight rush of air (subjectively defined) is not abnormal.

ROTFL.

If a few tiny drops of water hit you, you are not wet.
If a Significant amount of water hits you, you are wet.

Cant really tell, need more info like ambient temp and if there was a temp change during your test. ie: was in a cold garage and then was brought out into ambient 20*F warmer....or vice versa.

Are you located in Virginia? Your forum location says Europe, but your video title is a local phone number for me.

Since the pressure change at the fuel cap is subjective, I will pay closer attention on my car. I have to fuel in the next couple days and will share.

Saw your other 4 vids, what is an "MW pump" ?
I noticed fresh yellow antitamper markings on the Delivery valves and Alda, assuming maybe "Injection Pump".

nope it was 23C whole day (thats 73F) so no temp change..

that number is youtube attached and I m too lazy to change it to
something title-ish

MW is one form of mechanical Injection Pumps, bit more powerful and robust compared to simpler and smaller M pumps...

so strange...you have knowledge of ALDA and delivery valves
and none about MW's

cheers mate

I think it is air rushing IN. If the vent is clogged, a vacuum is created inside the tank.
