I know, but with the cost of the part ($13) plus shipping, it will probably cost about $20. Like I said in a previous post, I don't like to make special orders. I only like to order parts from PP that offer the free shipping. I don't remember ever placing an order for less than $75. Special orders have their own shipping, profit, tax (I am in the same state)etc.

Disregard my earlier question, of course autos don't have the boot. I really shouldn't be posting on forums when I'm half-asleep

UPDATE:

I got the boot the other day and installed it:

I have to say that I am very pleased with it so far. It exceeded my expectations (based on the previous posts). Although it feels a little stiff on cold mornings, I can't imagine the genuine MB part would feel any different. Bottom line: the $12 I paid for this boot is well worth it....Rich

I bought one about a year ago, but I don't remember where I bought it. It was for my manual transmission 300E, but is exactly the same part. I have a couple of 240D parts cars, but I doubt that the boots are any good. I will try to remember to check.

If one of the boots is good, you can have it for the shipping cost.

The MB part is much softer - more flexible, and feels better.
