1999 E300 in a wrecking yard, what parts should I get?

I saw this car at a yard today, and am wondering if it is worth my while to get some parts off of it before they are gone. The entire front sheet metal is already gone, as well as a lot of engine parts. Oddly enough, the cylinder head and glow plugs are still there. All the rest of the accessories are gone. I know the head would be good to get because of the breaking off of glow plugs, so that is a given. I think the exhaust manifold and turbo are still there. As far as interior or electrical gadgets, what is valuable and able to be sold? I would only be taking parts off to either save for future replacements on my friends cars (two different friends with the exact same cars, even the color), or for sale to compensate for my labor and other parts.

The silly expanding cup holder, those break all the time. Oh, and I could personally use the glove box lock tab. The part that is not in the door. Mine broke and I will pay you to pull and ship it out.

Rear window regulator, radio above interior mirror which unlocks doors fail sometimes, small fittings come in handy that's all I can think of.

Those engines are worth big bucks. You can get it cheap and turn a profit if it runs.

edit, just saw that the engine is missing parts. take the glovebox assembly. the glovebox door handles always break off

The gear shifter is trashed, and all the console stuff is gone (climate control, switches etc).

I really need a set of injector lines and clips if they aren't all bent up/broke and would gladly pay you

perhaps the plastic panel that covers the valve cover too.

Skippy~ As for perception: Drive what you like and can afford. Those who don't like it can supply vacuum to one of your components. LOL

If you need parts, I have some!

All that stuff was gone when I got there. I do have one NEW line (not sure which one) that I bought for my car because I thought it was bad. It ended up being a loose nut (sorta like the one behind the wheel ). All the lines and plastic clips are still available from our sponsor. Worst case is I have used zip ties to hold the lines. Two on each one threaded through the slotted holes in the metal brackets....Rich

Ah dang, mine will work but the monkey who pulled the injectors before i got it bent them all up. Was hoping someone had a good used set. Thanks for checking!
