It's officially Winter and some of Northeast forums members have gotten hit with decent snow accumulation, has anyone taken their Mercedes out in the snow yet? Let's see those brave souls who aren't afraid of winterized roads!

I really like the look of that service wagon. Put a limited slip differential in the back and I bet it would go surprising places.

Service Wagon
Although there is no snow here (Death Valley CA), it is winter! It got below freezing at night while camping. It's a good thing is was not snowing, as I had to "service" the Service Wagon (replace the alternator voltage regulator).

Idling in the driveway, temps in the low teens. Exhaust melted a nice spot below the tailpipe. The heat in the cabin is amazing! Put the color matching hub caps away for the winter, but not the car.....

My 1984 300sd has been armored with foam construction sheets to protect against snow and falling branches while working on it.

Here's what the thermometer looked like this morning, a little before sunrise:
 And here's what the 240D looked like:  I parked it at about -15F, and I probably won't try to move it again until the temps are again close to zero. Things break at -40, and I don't want to trash this old rig.

‘78 300 CD in Snow
This is my ‘78 300 CD in North Dakota. The car and driveway were clean the previous evening. High winds overnight created the cantilever of snow off of the hood for the next morning.
