Well, it only took about a week and a half but I finally got caught up with the piles on my desk from my time off. Good thing because I've got vacation next week.

I think they're putting the basecoat on the parking lot today so I'll probably have my boys back over to watch all of the excitement since there's no baseball practice or camp today.

Then the two oldest boys and I are off to Waterford Speedbowl tonight for their Wacky Wednesday racing (Wacing?). It's the entry level stuff all the way from 4 cyl. to entry modifieds. $7 per adult and kids under 14 are free so it's a fun, cheap way to get them out of the Mrs.' way for awhile. The summer is almost over and this'll be the first time we've made it a short track race this season.

Took my younger daughter to nursing camp this morning and we stopped off for coffee at a local coffee house I frequent. Spending time alone with one of your kids is really very rewarding. She's very excited about becoming a nurse and thanked me for insisting that she and her sister try things like this out while they are still in high school.

This is the stuff that makes being a dad worthwhile.

Last night I started working on the seats in the Dee8gonator. I'm pretty pumped up about getting the renovation under way!

Sorry you're having a crappy day TX. Friday will be here before you know it, though.

1 and 2 may be being exacerbated due to 3.

I hope things clear up quickly for you.

Due to what is happening on 9/27, my wife has created a "to-do" list that needs to be started on today in addition to getting a batch of homebrew going.

Thanks Mistress. Happy Wednesday wishes to everyone from me to.

I met the owner of a 1985 300CD at the diesel station today. He's owned the car since he bought it new in 1986. It's beautiful and he's interested in selling it to me since I asked (he's not trying to sell it). I already told my wife about it and she wants to go look at it since it will be her daily driver. We'll see how it goes. The only drawback is it's got the California setup under the hood.

The condition of the car is worth doing a changeover. NO rust, dents, clearcoat failure, dash cracks, wood damage, interior rips or sags or aluminum trim hazing. Everything works and he has 2 sets of bundts plus a complete set of paper manuals.

I'll be in touch if things work out here.

you can have the manifolds.. $50 plus shipping.. I bought them a year ago so I could install an intercooler.

Today I have been hunting around for a certain paint for my engine compartment. As well as Forney brushes for my dremel since they last longer than the dremel stuff.

You'll all see what I'm up to in the coming weeks
