Based on the descriptions of the protestors of the Occupy X movement I've read on here, I'd be armed too!

KKK/Nazi's support Bush Presidential Bid

Orangeburg, Jackson, somewhere in AZ, etc. Actually the history of US use of lethal force against citizen insurrections is quite long. Whose best interests do you think they represent anyway?

i'll keep my eyes on whatever i please, and say whatever i want about your country, and the evil english empire it was part of, the genocide that was committed against the aboriginals etc. who do you think you are to tell me anything? quite the bully boy, eh?

for the record, you lamented the lack of "conscription". your desire for a draft speaks volumes about who you are. and the fact that you never served says even more. here in america, we have a name for people like that, specifically the dick cheney and donald rumsfeld types who are happy to send others off to fight in wars they managed to avoid: "chicken-hawks". google it.

7:30 p.m. Another member of mayoral team resigns
Deputy Mayor Sharon Cornu has resigned, effective immediately, the second member of the mayor's team to submit her resignation just today. Mayor Jean Quan's legal adviser and longtime friend, Dan Siegel, also resigned today over the mayor's handling of the Occupy encampment.

Great job Oakland. Rats are leaving the sinking ship.

It was time to move to a new chapter. Oakland business owners in the immediate vicinity have donated enough of their turf and customer base to the cause.

It's a flawed model for a protest or statement to be sure but you seem to be sneering at the fact of poverty. The general health of our society is in part reflected in these things. The healthier a society is, the fewer losers it has.

Hey guys, we're just using your own brush!

I'm REALLY curious how you can call a Herman Cain supporter a racist. I don't have a racist bone in my body. Many years ago I was even engaged to someone of a much different race from myself. I DO, however, despise bad behavior from ANYONE regardless of their race.

As far as public parks go, you are EXACTLY right! They DO belong to the public. That means that it is EVERYONE's responsibility to keep them neat and clean. When someone trashes them, they are not being good citizens. If they DAMAGE them, they are violating the law just as if they damaged someone elses private property.

You need to grow up and learn about the responsibilities of being a good citizen.
