No, sometimes it takes a mirror to see the racists.

I don't mean that of you, personally. But I am sick of those who see race as the prime motivator is all injustice. It really undermines what true racism is, and what former generations went through to seek equality.
I think we would be better off, if the guys who make a good living by hustling race simply left the auditorium, and allowed the people to heal.
There are posters here who always scream that Jesus is the answer--to every problem. Many of you know who they are, and discount their views because their response is always the same. I feel the same way about those who label everything as racism.
I disagree with Progressive/Liberal/ Socialistic politics, and policies. I think they are harmful. I don't check the race of the person proposing said Progressive/Liberal. Socialist policies. I disagree with the principle. So if the policy comes from Karl Marx, I disagree--even though he is a white European (was). I disagreed with Stalin's policies--another white guy. I disagrees with most of Bill Clinton's politics, yet another white guy. And yes, I disagree with most of the politics of our current president, and he happens to be half a white guy--it matters not what is his race--its the policies I oppose.

I don't think you understand modern racism in Amerika because you and I can't imagen how it is to be an African American male and to be judged on the color of your skin on a daily base. If you are sick of racism can you imagen how sick a black person is about racism?

And I put up that Klan picture because a lot of white people think that's the face of racism; but it isn't, it's much more subtle now. I doubt many blacks see a white male with a hoodie like that these days...

If "Amerika" is such an awful place why don't you return to the Socialist utopia you came from? Can you "imagen" how it is to be judged on your nationality on a daily "base" by someone from a country of the original exploiters? Go home and put your finger in a dike. Hollywood is largely to blame for the negative stereotypes of black men, and you have buttered your bread at their expense, but I'm sure you will never lose any sleep over that.

Amerika is a great place, don't think I will ever leave, sorry. I did shot a film for BET, with an almost entire black cast, very positive and inspiring film, I believe it even won some awards.

Care to share with us what the film "shot" was that you did with BET? Have you done any film "shot" for WET? I wonder if any of the black cast in your award winning shot knew what country you were from, and what awful things your ancestors had done? Or perhaps, maybe they took things at face value, and didn't assign a label to you for some things that have happened in the past that you had absolutely no say in, or control over, because you were a nice guy. Enjoy my Country, even though you don't deserve all it offers. I think it's OK to not like the verdict but respect what the jury had to do given the laws they were working under. I think it's fair to say that even they would have liked to punish Z for what he did but there was no law broken that would let them do that. In short, they had to let him go.

Through all of this ( yes I watched a fair amount of the trial ) I kept wondering what really happened to make this kid snap and punch Z in the nose. Somehow, at least to me, being followed shouldn't have caused T to do this unless Z said something to him. The ass beating he was getting was triggered by something Z said it would seem.

T's friend said he was mostly quiet and laid back and not aggressive. Regardless of all of the speculation only Z knows for sure and he isn't talking and would be smart if he never does.

Hardly worth 50 pages.

I shot a film for BET, a common word used in my industry. And I actually did shoot some stuff for WET it was broadcast under their ABC and NBC affiliate.

'cus ABC and NBC are only for whites- right? Your backhanded comment shows you are re-enforcing the us against them attitude- yet you and most everyone alive today was not around to be in power when racism had laws behind it. When I went to elementary school we were taught all people are equal regardless of color- same thing in middle school and the same thing in high school. Guess what? Even more of that in university. Racism was not tolerated then and it is not now. Why do you think it's still here?

Even that people like to believe everyone is equal, that's unfortunately not the case. And as long as we fool our selfs, it will never change.

You should not ask a white guy like me: "why do you think it's still here?" You should ask it to a black guy and take his word for it.

Racism is in all of us. We all come from a gene pool forged in 10s of thousands of years of tribalism.
