I do get that a lot of people don't like Jews, but they do consistently rank as one of the most successful demographics in the world. Who knows, intelligent nutrition might be part of that. It's pretty widely accepted among New Age nutritionists that cows milk for humans, especially adult humans is a misguided idea.

I have eaten Costco pizza myself. No longer. It is a digestive nightmare. All pizza is misguided.

That's sounding a little better. I have been a sucker for dessert for a large portion of my life. We most all of us have been fools with our nutrition from the beginning. Hunter-gatherers were stuck with a much simpler diet than we modern people. There were also forced periods of fasting. It's hard to fast just because you think it's the right thing to do.

Ben Franklin:

"I saw a few people die of starvation. Of eating? One hundred thousand."

What is wrong with Milk? I've drink probably three gallons/week of the organic, 1% stuff.

I've about gotten to the point that I don't eat pizza.

Just when you think maybe the full reach of ignernt has been plumbed. I did not set out today to praise the Jewish people. But I don't quite understand it, by numerous metrics they fulfill human potential generally better than most other demographics. Here is an example:

Quote:
Jewish people (defined by ethnicity, living anywhere in the world and not only as citizens of Israel) are far ahead of any other nation with 12.7 laureates per million of population. They are followed by Switzerland and Sweden, both of which countries have “only” three laureates per million inhabitants.
https://tinyurl.com/ycx72uv3.

Israel/Zion never would have been mounted as a project without deep Jewish pockets around the world backing the effort. Those funds were not US taxpayer funds. They were monies that Jewish people had figured out how to extract from the world without breaking the law. Unfortunately, similarly deep Palestinian pockets were not available.

Supposedly the proteins in milk cause inflammation that can aggravate arthritis. Purists point out that humans and our anntecedents evolved for millions of years without drinking anything resembling milk past weaning. Something like 70% of the people in the world cannot digest milk. It's only Europeans who somehow developed the mutation enabling digestion of milk who get into it.

I've read accounts of third world people getting bags of powdered milk in aid packages and using it to whitewash their houses, because they can't digest it, it gives them stomach pain.

Lately I have been relenting and eating goat's cheese. All of the eggheads I respect say that it digests much easier than cow's cheese. They say similar for goat's milk and sheep's milk as well. I dunno, it's a controversial topic.

Is there, or has there ever been any nation in the world that has received more $ foreign aid per capita than them?

You might recall, the 20th century was not especially easy on the world Jewish demographic. It's a complicated issue. That to which I refer took place well before the Holocaust or Zionist emigration projects.

I'm not going to take a position that every kosher law or practice is gold plated, absolute truth, you name it. But I think a lot of it is worth a looksee. It's a paradox, humans seem pretty smart in a lot of ways, and yet we can eat the most bizarre conglomerations of approximate food. Particularly in modern times food combinations are not well thought out. Often lead to gut bombs - major indigestion.

Most of the stuff that I am philosophically opposed to, when it finds its way onto my plate at the homes of friends and family, I will eat it. Pizza on occasion is certainly not going kill you. I even had some pepperoni pizza with Coca-Cola on ice a couple of months back at a family get together. Don't get me started on Coca-Cola, but I will confess that it does go well with pizza and I enjoyed myself that day. I have not had it since.
