The battery is draining overnight. Have replaced battery to no avail. Alternator is giving out 14v with engine running.
With car off, have hooked up ammeter in series and am getting a 1.8amp draw,...

Intermitent noise from airflow vent fan. Appears to require lubing. Can anyone tell me where the fan is located and how to get at it.

Reset the vacuum control unit by removing and refitting 2-off closing aid fuses in the aux fuse box; located in the trunk. I think the fuses are no.3 and no.9.

w140 overheating

W140 s500 coupe, has begun to overheat. Normally it temps at approx 80-90 but now goes into 110+. I believe the thermostat operates at approx 80 c, vicous fan at approx 100 c and aux fans beyond...
