Tiny bulb, headlight on/off switch on 123/126

Small problem but big mystery. I pulled the headlight on/off switch out of both my 123 and my 126 and have replaced the tiny light bulb in both. Neither one works, nor have I ever seen them work....

I had the same "rocks rattling in a coffee can" problem. Mine turned out to be loose belt on the compressor. Tighten the belt and that should stop the noise.
