Question W124 - removing door panel

Mercedesshop link

Need to remove one of the rear door panels on my 95 W124. Anything else I should know of to make it easier , that might not be mentioned on above link?

What tools am I going to need, other than pliers (needle nose?), phillips...etc? I just have my tools in the whse, so need to go get the specific tools I need.

Open door, unscrew the lock, pop off the black plastic cover that has the window switch on it, unplug the plug from the window switch, use a 10mm socket and remove the bolt holding on the arm that pulls the door shut, SLIDE the panel up to release it from the plastic clips that keep it installed, it's that simple

Red face

THank you guys, unfortunately I don't have the service cd.... I will try your tips. Odd **** though... I didn't see one bolt on there, visible with the panel on.... not on the door panel nor the door handle. I am going to look again.

The bolt is not visable until you remove the two black plastic covers - one around the door handle, the other around the seat controls. They pop right off with a screwdriver - gently. You should get the CD - it's available on Ebay for peanuts.
