Lexus has a brake issue with the RX suv, either the NYT or WSJ reported on owners disappointed in Lexus refusing to purchase another Lexus.

I think Mercedes Manhattan is corporate owned.

Also your price for repair may be reasonable, depending on the location of the brake LINE could be tricky to replace the line. Seems like your not dealing with a simple brake HOSE connected to a caliper
