I've got the same lamps in my clear corners too. All I had to do to make them fit nicely into the sockets was shave down the lead contacts a little bit. They look fine, no bulb out light, no blown fuses, and no melted sockets or wires.

My headlights are also the same, used genuine Bosch off ebay from Germany.
