I think he means that it should be free speech for his sad faith while others do not have that right.

OK. So it is the largest threat in the world. What has that got to do with a Hindu prayer and a bunch of christian zealots?

If this thread is to continue, it'll have to be without the personal insults. I've issued infraction(s), and a lock will follow.
Thanks, C.

Fanaticism is a dangerous trend, every faith has had its fair share but it has no place in today's world, we all follow the same goal, our destination is same, but we take different paths and approach, as long as it doesn't infringe on others' sensitivities, best way is to let it be. If one thinks worshipping rats, cross, book, temple, wall will lead him/her to the way to salvation, so be it, life is all about variety and freedom of choice which includes the right and the choice of not to have any belief for that matter, organized religion across the globe has given nothing but trouble, Hindu fanatics included, years back during the time of the great Buddha, the then king of India, Ashoka converted to Buddhism and then went on a mission to spread it among Indians and the rest of Orient, his emissaries even went as far as Mongolia and Egypt, the existing Hindu priests saw it as a great threat to their livelihood but since Ashoka was all too powerful, they wouldn't dare oppose him, after his death, they slowly started persecuting Buddhists converts and gradually India lost a great offshoot of Hindu philosophy which eventually went to the Orient where it prospered to great extent as is witnessed nowadays. It was our loss due to fanatical idiots and others gain.

![]() About Christianity is here to stay, so is every other faith including Islam even though its going through a mighty rough patch now, it will persevere due to it's inherent greatness, and also the atheists, agnostics etc., however if more persons like you join the Christian faith, I am quite worried about it's future, you and your kind are everything that Christ never wanted his way to be.

Wanna bet that if you ungodly rat worshipers kick up a ruckus at his church prayer meeting he will not see it as free speech? IMO, free speech is about the exchange of ideas and not to drown out others' ideas. IOW, as a member of the KKK and Aryan Nation, I have the same right to express myself as some black guy like MLK.

Islam is not attacking anyone, neither is the Quran, its misguided fanatics who are far from the true teachings of Islam that are causing the ruckus, well in that same breath so are the Chrisitian fanatics disrupting the Hindu prayer at the senate, they are equally dangerous when they will grow in numbers.

You are saying that there are a few bad apples in an otherwise good barrel. OK. However, that begs the question of why the other good apples aren't out there protesting what is being done in the name of their religion? I haven't heard of all the massive protests for each suicide bomber. Have you? I mean, if I was damn sure that this is not the will of my religion, I'd be raising a huge stink every time one of those clowns sullies it with what they call an act in the name of the religion. After all, we have all that hue and cry over one single cartoon but not one word about Salman Rushdie's sentence of death for his book. Makes you think, don't it? How can you be so sure that the barrel doesn't have a few good apples surrounded by bad apples?

In case of practicer of Islam, there are many factors, primarily among them, fanatics rule and make sure that those who are moderates never get their voice heard. Also now most Muslims believe that the west and Israel has declared war on them and therefore in the name of collateral damage, its Muslim lives that are lost, some of them have nothing to do with terrorists, its sadly a cumulative effect, but this is what fanatics excel in, it has nothing to do with the religion per se just like the fanatics who were protesting at the senate Hindu prayer session had nothing to do with Christ's teachings in any way. The interpretation to act of religion is the key thing here, the fanatic fool things bombing or converting the entire world to his/her way is the only way to salvation and there is nothing wrong in it. They forget call to religion or any faith is an entirely voluntary process, one which comes from within ones self and not via bombings, sword, coercion, etc. Like the Conquistador's of the past, some of the Mughal rulers of India tried that path of conversion by sword, their end result failed, Hindus remained steadfast and Islam never really became the way of choice in India, guess we people like our freedom to worship rats and stones
The much hallowed Taj Mahal is built over one of the holiest Hindu temples as a matter of fact.I feel the biggest and most dangerous facet in any organized religion is the self apponted and annointed head, the Mullah, priest etc. to keep their agenda and their coffers flowing, they have to take the faith to the extreme and the first basic rule is to be intolerant of those not in the flock. Years back the late pope came during the holiest month of the Hindus, that is Diwali, the festival of lights and in a congregation of Chritians, declared that its Christ that will bring light to these dark area, this was a statement that would have created a furore anywhere but Hindus chose to ignore him and his stupid statement, no riots happened, no Christians were slaughtered.

What you are saying is that for those reasons, etc, etc, there are a couple of bad apples in an otherwise good barrel. How do you know that is the case? Why can it not be that the "moderates" are lending tacit support? IOW, the barrel is full of apples. A few rotten ones, a few good ones and the rest are good on the outside but rotten in the core? IOW how do you know that those moderates are being silenced by the fanatics? How do you know it isn't that the "moderates" are lending tacit support in terms of financial, logistical, moral, etc, etc?
