I say it is understandable that this seems to nonsense. I'll share what I know about it. But slow down, it's outside of your worldview.

You come back and say I'm evasive, which I am not. If I was why would I spend my time trying to build rapproachment?

If it was like the moon around Jupiter we'd measure it with our equipment. It obviously isn't.

Instead of being so certain you have all the answers you could learn some things and perhaps let go of some of that anger you have towards your parents.

You have a rigid and highly-defended world view. You say, God, if you're real, you must fit into this box. God smiles and says, "back at you buddy."

Now I've made a very basic mistake in my interactions. I thought these dialogs were to be expansive. When an anthropologist visits a new culture they suspend their world-view so they may see what is about them. So I thought if someone was curious that's what they'd do.

Christianity does not fit into your world view. If you wish to learn, because obviously you have been traumatized by it, stop trying to tell Christ and His Church what they must be.

I'm a smart guy. Smart enough that it has been a major, major struggle to maintain high-level rationality and develop a rich Christian life. What I have learned in the process is valuable. If you want to learn about it you'll have to suspend your absoluteness for a bit. If you require that I express and function through your world-view then all I'll be is sterile because your hatred of your parents that you direct towards Christ is not a world where I know how to live.

If you need to call this feint and dodge I can't stop you. I'll assure you that I have struggled for many hours to find the best way to respond.

I know quite a few atheists and more chirsters than I want to. My question is why is it only christers that can see and are plagued by demons? Of all the atheists I know and not one has ever confided in me that he/she sees or hears demons.

As far as the christer/political side goes it seems that their force is waning.

Not sure about atheists but IF you believe there is a god, you probably will have to believe there is a devil. After all, if there is a positive (whatever god you worship), there has to be a negative to balance it. If not, there can only be good around. If you worship the devil, you have to believe in the existence of a god. Either way, you are selling your soul to one party or the other.

If you are atheist, how can there be a devil to possess you? There is no god, remember? If there is not a god, how is there a devil?

I guess, from an agnostic point, I don't know that either exists so either they both exist or neither exists.

Yes it is. They tell you that there is a problem and they have a solution. Sounds like a shyster who tells you there is a problem with a perfectly good car and has a solution. Think of the Tornado intake, for example.

Circle jerk is hard to say. If you are the pivot man, it might not be good.
