Bunch of partisan hypocrites, they could give a $hit about the Constitution.
Their level of concern is what Fox news dictates to them nothing more.
Many of the rabid 2A posters on this forum land squarely in the middle of that description.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

I could just as easily claim the advent of Google caused them to drop or the invention of the modern video games! That was the starting era for the Doom series and Wolfenstein!

Well, US Government abuse of citizen's rights has been going on for decades, even centuries (the Alien & Sedition Acts, Internment of American citizens during WWII, etc...)
Bush has been retired now for what - about 5 years? If Obama wants to restore the 4th, 5th and 14th, then maybe we can discuss the 2nd. But the latest I'm hearing from the current administration is about urestricted use of drones!

I am extremely disappointed in the current administration for keeping the status quo on the Patriot Act.
Just shows that regardless of party affiliation or ideology, nobody gives up power once they have it.

I certainly do not want to see anyone roll over and play dead on the 2nd, I would like to see the same level of engagement applied to other amendments.

Great point! You deploy your forces at the site at the current active battlefront. Doesn't make sense to deploy them elsewhere.
