I have one and am now putting it into my third body.

I had one (82 300TD) a few years ago, traded it for a rare MB motorhome. I should not have done it, but a couple days later the guy weaseled out of the deal and brought the MH back. He sold the TD on ebay and got about $7,000.

A W111 coupe fitted with a 722.9 transmission and an OM648.

Well to be honest I'd be happy with a W111 coupe with the parts on a pallet next to it too.
