Don't know about the Fordson. This is the 8N, which was a long production run after the shorter run of 2N and 9N, all are a follow on based on the Ferguson-Ford joint venture after the two had a parting of the ways. Mine still works for a living, but not very hard, she has to cut 5 acres of brush a few times a year.
I shoot competition with the AR. As I'm not wealthy this is the semi-auto variant not the burst fire or full auto. It does have some nice upgrades for competition.
