This weekend sparks yet another soccer tournament...and the LAST room painting project I will tackle this year!

This time, it's my wife's home office. Tired of it looking like that one errant room that everyone has in their house that has no real purpose other than being the makeshift storage room!

I’ll be installing a new set of skids with emergency floats on Shelby’s 206.

we are having thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with our kids. we will be in houston for thanksgiving day. we are moving my mother in law there.

i made an apple and pumpkin pie.

pies are my specialty contribution to holiday meals.

i also make waffles when the kids are here on weekends.

we will also try to watch the purdue/indiana, ohio/michigan and notre dame games.

sunday i will probably watch the race. no autocrosses.

i might try to hook up with hit man x in houston.

This threads still alive! Well last weekend I skipped work, and went sailing, then came back and did some more work! If I get the chance tomarrow I will go sailing again.

But planning on either partying sat night, working on the SD Sunday, followed by a good helping of homework/real work. Or sleep Sat night because it has been a looooong week, with various forms of partying already.

I'm looking forward to watching the Ohio State vs. Michigan and UC Berkeley (I refuse to call them Cal) vs. USC (I refuse to call the Southern Cal, which they hate).

I've debating on whether to mow the lawn today or to lay around the house like a wet noodle. I've been fighting a cold for the past three weeks, and have had the worst cough in my entire existence.

As an aside, why does the national media call UC Berkeley "Cal" and USC "Southern Cal" ? We here in Califoria use neither name, and if you say "Cal" or "Southern Cal" no one is likely to know which university you are referring to.

All public universities in California have "Cal" or "California" in their name. If you refer to a university called "Cal" nobody will have any idea which California state university you are referring to, with the exception of college football fans. For example, you have the UC college system: University of California at: Los Angeles (UCLA), San Diego (UCSD), Berkeley (UC Berkeley), Davis (UC Davis), etc.
You also have the Cal State system: Cal State Fullerton, Cal State LA, Cal State Long Beach, etc.

Regarding USC, we all refer to USC as SC or USC. Nobody refers to them as Southern Cal. They also ask the broadcasters not to call them Southern Cal, yet the name persists.

Just two of my pet peeves....

Aren't you a PT? I know several that are freelance to rehab centers and do very well. I know only one that works full time for a hospital, and that is because it is the VA and she needs the Fed. benefits.

You must have blown a fuse on during this game, because the broadcasters referred to both teams the wrong way for the duration of the game!

Ooooh man, you got that right. What was really killing me were all the missed chances for scoring that USC blew.
