More fun to get the wife to do it. If only I could get her to put on a "Naughty Nurse" outfit and do it. ![]()

And if I can buy 5 items at 1 place instead of going ro 3 places, I save time, among other things. Depending on when you go, lines can be an issue. Arrangements are usually according to a pre set floor plan. Nobody asked you to talk ro the workers. I have got them to point me to the item or take me there. I DON'T ask them for their opinion on a product. Same as with any other place.

Well, since moved from a main drag in a big city, I have a choice when I come home later than a certain hour. I could either wake up the wife or get myself something to eat. If you choose the latter, drive up to a half hour away or just grab something off the shelf and eat it. If you want to be a food snob, that is your choice. You have to pay for it by driving out somewhere in the middle of the night. How much is it worth to satisfy your snobbery? Not much to me so on the way home, I grab a TV dinner, nuke it while showering, eat it so I can go to bed without feeling hungry and wake up feeling better.

I can easily cook something decent/healthy for dinner in 30 min when it comes down to it.

I haven't ever cooked since 90. I leave that to the wife. She doesn't clean pots and pans and stove. That is my job. She handles my medical stuff, I handle the car stuff. I had my friends look over the house when it was being built. I don't get involved in the color scheme. Less arguments that way. Besides, when I come home late and tired, I just want to go to bed without the hunger keeping me up. Healthy doesn't even come into place. As long as it is sufficiently tasty (IOW relatively unhealthy like all my favorite foods) I could care less. Sure, I could thaw out a steak and grill it and heat up some mashed potatoes but is it worth the effort when I can't even enjoy that meal and just want to get it over with? I think not. Quick and dirty works. Deal with whatever the next morning.

What I should have said was, WallyWorld carries the 0w40, but they never have enough of it to do an oil change. Today they only had 5 quarts.

A Walmart employment record in good standing for a couple of years is an indicator that the employee will show up sober, clean, on time and ready to work. That's a strong background for unskilled labor. My experience hiring unskilled labor is very outdated so I could be wrong. I used to hire guys from the unemployment office of whatever town I was working in. There were plenty of people who fail the Walmart work ethic. |

If God had meant for man to be in the kitchen, He would have given him BRILLO PADS instead of HANDS.

Yeah, it means they're dependable, will put up with nearly any kind of abuse without complaint, and smart enough to bathe and feed themselves, but not smart enough to calculate their worth, or brave enough to ask for a raise.
