I will keep that in mind once the time comes to get the AC working in the 240D. I bet a sanden wouldn't zap as much power from the engine as the york. Plus I could do a proper dual parallel flow condenser setup and get it to snow inside the car.

If I get the desire to I might call napa and have them get me the shorter belt because you're correct on the adjustment. I'm almost out of threads. But that won't matter now that it's blowing hot air.

It's just my stress coming out I expected the AC to work just fine with the awesome sanden kit and I'm still chasing issues.



Anyways. I rigged up a small fish tank as a fresh fuel tank and it's returning to the tank line. I cleared out the pick up line and the hand primer would not prime the system. Can I take the fuel pump off and clean it out easily? I suspect that it might be gunked up.

The valves on either side of the pump can be taken apart and cleaned easy. The actual pump mechanism it's self is a bit more complicated. The valves are likely to become frozen in place. Start there first.

I'll see about removing the valves today and cleaning them out. I hope that fixes the issue

Because I don't think about them. They only happen now and then and don't cause too much issue. I was out in one and isn't that bad if you stay in the auto. Also one should be cleaning weekly so a little extra dust shouldn't be an issue.

John, have you been in a desert? It is VERY lush! Plants adapt to the conditions. It is so beautiful! The colors all year round! I love it so much I am putting in desert landscaping. We even have native grapes!

It is much warmer since modern man over came the desert. It used to not get over 110*F and now because of the urban heat island we are now hitting 120*F in the Valley. That is one reason I am looking to purchase a little parcel up in the higher part of the State.

Forget what utah elevation is, flag is at 8000...we are at 5000......

Sand storms, oh man forgot about that.....those things are crazy! We get them up here....most of the time I should wear goggles...
