Thumbs up Helping Hands

Thanx Shern ;

As I said, it's not perfect close up but I can and do trust my life to it daily and for as far as I want to go .

I wish it still looked as good as yours but i've had it for two decades and always run the wheels off it, not every one uses their "Classic" for yeoman Duty, I always do .

I'd forgotten about the fuel sender, yes I'd like it and would like to come fetch it this Saturday if possible .

Very clean W123. You don't really see the palomino interior absent of pink these days. I take it you keep it garaged?

Believe it or not, Southern Californian street parking and the odd re-dye/paint.

I’ve changed seat skins here and there because originals had rips and tears, but even those originals had no pinkomino… it was the replacements that needed the touching up. Luck of the draw I guess…

Taken with my Canon A1, just like a W123; all mechanical and dependable.

My driveway seemed a little benze this morning. That is a 240 under cover as well.

Hesperia Lake park I recognize, there is also a brick dome somewhere around there that I've been to. I also recognize your R107, I always wondered how it felt to drive it.

My first MB diesel was an OM617a converted 280GE with just a couple of upgrades.

My current MB diesel is a stock W115 300D, in the process of getting it running and roadworthy after a long (10+ year) hibernation.

W115 1976 240D

I've had quite a few diesels, but the 1976 240D I miss the most.
