And also said I got in heated mouth to mouth combat with the DYNO operator and stormed out of there... And anyways why would I want a result sheet from a broken DYNO???? We can at least all agree that she has 150++ of pony power.

Plus all my weight reduction and track grip (wing) can't be calculated on a DYNO....

I'm jus a 240 guy ya kno
Your weight reduction and wing (parasitic drag) mean nothing to horsepower.

You conveniently can't post pictures, you conveniently can't get a Dyno chart (no other Dynos within driving distance?!), and you can't go anywhere because of a lack of license. Ah....the excuses.....You sure you aren't a politician?

What we can ALL agree on is that unless you post pictures and have some proof of what you're doing, you have a 72HP engine putting out 55HP as charted on the dyno previously.

Put up or shut up...

150 ponies? It's a 55hp 240D. An el-cheapo eBay cold air intake (it already had a cold air intake btw) and an exhaust won't gain you any more than 0.5 up. So sure you got a 55.5whp 240D.

Go yank someone else's chain. I doubt your car was ever at a dyno shop. the whole story sounds like a tall tale. You can't post any pictures. i hope people stop responding to you cause it's a waste of time.

If you would spend your time on that instead of lying you might have completed something by now.

Oh come on....the seeds are planted, someone with a junk 240 find out what it ACTUALLY takes to get 150HP out of it... Or if you happen to have some nitrous laying around, 235HP...

not your pics! Not your car!
jake, nice piece of detective work!
From the photos, it appears not to even be a 123! Look at the dash, and the door molding. Probably a 124. You would think that he would have at least pirated photos of a 123!

thanks! I was a member on a Porsche forum and busted a couple people thru reverse Google searching images.

I was thinking the same thing. the rear floor pan looks like the design of a w124.

my best advice to him is to actually buy a junk car and build what he can. budget $500 for a jalopy and see what another $500 will get him in power and well be impressed.
